The room was lovely, spacious, and calm. The restaurant/pub was lively with locals, yet there was always space for us and our friends. Food was delicious--great pies, tasty fish, satisfying breakfast, and fine beverages (especially the Jail Ale). But the best part was the hosts: always welcoming and kind, flexible and attentive to details.

Breakfast was a wholesome, delicious start of day. Hosts really made you feel at home with a fabulous homemade breakfast. They had shortage of Eggs and they went the extra mile to get some for us! They went above and beyond :) The views were spectacular. Very dreamy place.

Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We stayed for both breakfast and dinner, the meals were excellent and very well cooked. The location of the Waterman's Arms is just stunning set in its own little valley alongside the river which you can sit by in the adjacent garden, it is just so peaceful.

a very warm welcome from the lovely host, who also provided recommendations for eating venues. the room was very clean, well equipped and there were extra touches like a fruit bowl and water. Stoke Gabriel is a very pretty village and it was lovely to be able to walk to the Dart river.

The breakfast was delicious and very beautifully laid out for us. The coffee, tea and homemade brownies displayed in the room also felt like a real treat. The river view from our bed was incredibly peaceful, so was the view from every window! The bathroom ginormous and light. Peter and Daniele were very relaxed and accommodating hosts, we could have sat chatting at breakfast until lunch (I think we almost did!) We will definitely stay again...
