The Bay Lodge was a wonderful experience on many levels! From the greeting by Clare the uber friendly owner who directed me to my really nice single room with a balcony and answered any and all questions that I had. The balcony was a nice touch even in January where I had a nice view of St. Michael's Mount. Bay lodge is very conveniently located, about a ten minute walk from the train station and town. The breakfast cooked up by Kevin was delicious and very filling. Clare was great to talk to about goings on in Penzance and the surrounding area; she even gave me a "Clare" map with suggestions of places to go. Clare and Kevin could not be more accommodating. I've stayed at a number of B&B's, but I must say The Bay Lodge is now my favorite.

The beds were the best both super comfy and the pillows and bedding felt brand new. Communication was submitted about the stay a few hours before hand making the transition really easy. Bedroom doors have number locks too so it felt secure. I left an item and the host kindly posted it back to me. Honestly I can't recommend this place enough. Clean. Tidy, great location and certainly looked after with any issues. Highly recommended.

The staff were so friendly and the room was amazing, really clean and bright and so quiet. The food was delicious and served on hot plates! The location was perfect for the Scillonian to and from The Isles of Scilly.
