The location is close to town, but not able to be found using Google Maps. It gets you very lost. Selene, our hostess, knew something was amiss and came looking for us (obviously she knew where to look}!!! She is an amazing hostess, running an incredible facility, taking great care to look after her guests. My wife is celiac, and Selene went out of her way to make sure she had something yummy for breakfast.

We visited Italy for a wedding in Tuscany and made a stop at Lake Garda. Booking Villa Lou was the best choice we could’ve made. The place is stunning: beautifully decorated rooms, a peaceful garden, and a delicious breakfast. You can feel the love and attention Merel and Vincent put into every detail. The hosts are very helpful and flexible. Excellent communication (very fast and helpful replies) from the booking until the end of stay. Easy check in and check out experience. We had issues on the road we were unsure if we could manage to arrive before 20:00. Francesco was very accommodating. The hosts live next to the property, which is super convenient for emergencies like late check in. The rooms are big, clean, and modern with great ac. Very nice breakfast verity. Plenty of garden toys which our 18 months old child was super happy about. Very relaxing pool and pool area. For a little fee we got late check out which was super convenient. We also recommend the parking option, as it is handy. All in all, lovely stay!

Our stay was short but truly memorable. Paolo was an incredibly kind and helpful host – it’s clear that he knows the Lago di Garda area very well, and he gave us wonderful recommendations on where to go and where to eat. Breakfast on the terrace with a breathtaking view over the entire lake was an unforgettable experience. If we ever return to this region, we would be more than happy to stay here again. Paola, Sergio and the staff are wonderful hosts. They were kind, hospitable and helped with dinner reservations and shuttling us in the golf cart. The courtyard is truly a work of art. We enjoyed using the spa and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Gargnano is a great place to stay, it feels much less touristy than other towns on the lake. The scenery/mountains start to become dramatic here, and still it is not too far to visit the south of the lake.

    The hosts were very charming, friendly and helpful. The accomodation is exceptional - a 16th century house successfully converted to embrace modern oak with original stonework. Stunning. Great facilities in the room, a communal kitchen and veranda. The breakfast was fantastic- I enjoyed 6 different fresh fruits alongside my cereal, toast and yogurt! It was a 15 minute walk to Gargagno's restaurants.
