The owners Michael and Maryse were extremely courteous and wonderful, helping us arrange taxi to and from the hotel, with our birthday request and sightseeing tips. The location is right next to the largest tulip field that we came across in our stay and is just a 10 minute bicyle ride from Keukenhof gardens. We will likely stay here again

Loved our stay at Mirjam's B&B Geliefd. Our projected check-in time was earlier than the B&B's standard check-in time. Mirjam was so kind to clean our room first, so when we arrived at the B&B from our long flight from the USA, our room was ready. The room was beautiful, roomy, comfortable, and very welcoming. Staying at B&B Geliefd is like being at your own home. Mirjam is such a great host -- brochures are available for activities to do in the area; Mirjam is happy to provide recommendations; and umbrellas are even available to borrow by the front door. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Parking is available onsite. The B&B is a short drive to Keukenhof and the flower fields. The breakfasts prepared by Mirjam are delicious. After our stay at Mirjam's B&B, we were headed to my cousin's in Germany. Mirjam suggested we pick up some tulips for her as flowers, which my cousin loved -- I really appreciated her recommendation. I highly recommend a stay at Mirjam's B&B. You will love it -- we did!!!

It is a very clever setup located in a picturesque quiet place. Parkplace is available. It is situated strategically 15 min by car to Keukenhof or 15 min by car to the beach. The room is very cozy and welcoming. It has everything you need also in a small kitchen set up. The bathroom is pretty large compared to maybe a hotel one. The breakfast was delicious with quite a variety of options and more than enough per person. We booked for 2 nights in the weekend prior to the last one when Keukenhof would still be opened, so the fields of flowers were almost done, but this was this season, and we still found the gateway was worth it. I find it with the location that it is worth throughout the year. The hosts are more than friendly and offered us a lot of information and answered all our questions, and accommodated us with simplicity.

The breakfast was delicious, prepared each day at the time you wanted, waiting for you at your table. Awesome fresh yogurt, some fresh veggie pieces, meat and cheese, hard boiled egg, and warm bread with jam and sprinkles available. Really loved the freshly squeezed orange juice, and the cappuccino machine. Exceptional start to every day of my stay. The room was luxurious with chandeliers and the bed was very comfy. Some of my friends even asked if I was staying in a castle.. The owners were very attentive to make sure my stay was exceptional. The cobblestone street near awesome restaurants was beautiful. Really enjoyed the French and Italian restaurants down the street. It was the perfect little village get away that was also close to the highway for all my day trips.

We chose this property as it was close to Keukenhof Gardens, as well as other sights we wanted to visit. The accommodation is modern, clean, and private, with the added bonus of having driveway parking for our car. Our host, Bianca, was there to greet us when arrived, and provided us with enough food/drink for breakfast for the 4 nights we were staying there. Sassenheim itself is a charming town with local restaurants available (we particularly enjoyed eating at Eetcafe De Voogd).

Really beautiful place to stay! The hosts are very nice and the breakfast is fantastic. The sea is quickly accessible, parking in Katwijk is also an experience with the parking garage under the dune.

A beautiful setting in an affluent, serene area of Sassenheim. We had the Loft apartment at the side of the house, opposite an ancient ruined castle, overlooking a quiet waterway. Cosy, romantic and cottage-like. A private (if teeny) sauna & toilet on entering the front door. At the top a little kitchenette with French doors onto a small sun terrace over the canal. Room to lay outside on loungers when sunny, or just sit and relax. Very private, quiet and calm. A large bed squeezed into a space opposite a basin & shower. Cosy, quiet & comfortable, with Netflix freely available. Annemiek, the owner, was just lovely. We hired the (top quality) e-bikes for 2 days which were excellent, well worth paying 3x the cost of ‘City bikes’ and made hilly coastal dune cycling against gale winds a piece of cake. The bikes virtually rode themselves!
