Everything was clean and sparkling, obviously a lot of care had been taken. Great interior, well put together,the photo doesn’t do it justice. Sheets were pure cotton and so comfortable as was the bed We liked having the toaster , the water bottles in the fridge and chocolates a nice touch. Frendly hosts.

Lush surroundings: the tiny cabins are set back into the forest. You sleep in total darkness and quiet. You awaken to bird song. There’s a hike right from the cabin, and owner Mark is full of good advice of 1,000 other things to do in the region. It’s a relaxed place with a shared kitchen kept neat and tidy and well-equipped. We were there as a couple and enjoyed meeting other travellers, but the place can also be booked for big groups which would be excellent for mountain biking enthusiasts and others. The climb up to the platform bed is pretty steep but the bed was cozy and firm and comfortable.

The accommodation was super nice, they left on the lights in the evening for us to find the location after sunset. The check-in was super easy and the views were amazing. The counter and fridge were stacked with thoughtfully picked snacks and everything was super clean. We're happy to stay in Wake Field again!

What a delight! This B&B is just on the edge of the town but is a world away, in a quiet garden setting. Immaculate presentation of rooms, garden and breakfast area. High quality linens, toiletries and nice little touches like robes and complimentary welcome drink in the fridge. Bed was comfortable and the shower hot. Bathroom is compact but it's not like we needed to be in there often! Breakfast was top notch with cooked or lighter options available. Our hosts were so welcoming, explaining the B&B, it's facilities and giving us great advice on dining out and sightseeing options. But, they were never intrusive. The apartment itself is completely self contained and separate to the house so you can interact as little or as much as you like. There is a separate lounge area, beside the apartment, for the exclusive use of apartment guests. The B&B is eco friendly, making sure that all products used are low impact and garden friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay again. Great value and a welcome respite from living out of a suitcase.
