The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the location is just at the heart of the rainforest, which was exactly what I was looking for. Good for relaxation, there is no internet or signal at the cottage, which allows for social media detox. However, broadband is available near the main building/restaurant if you can't live without internet. I was able to do a couple of web/video calls to my office early in the morning before going deep into the forest.

I had a wonderful stay at this riverside lodge, surrounded by nature — a true immersion into Amazonian life. The owners, Regina and Nei, are exceptional hosts, always willing to help and quickly solve any issues for their guests. The food is simply outstanding! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming experience.

Nagtatampok ang Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge ng outdoor swimming pool, hardin, restaurant, at bar sa Cajual. What a fantastic time we had staying at the lodge. We hired a brilliant English speaking guide and a boat pilot for the week through the lodge (additional to the accommodation costs) and they organised an itinerary to tour the local area and beyond. The food was great and varied (beef/chicken/pork/fish etc), including local fish that we caught in the day. It was amazing to live in the riverside community if only for a week, and we hope to come back in the wet season when the water is higher and the landscape has changed.

The hotel and its surroundings are fantastically beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable, if a little basic and the outdoor spaces around the rooms are great. There isn't really a restaurant per se, but there are a number of places around the property where you can have breakfast and dinner and the food is excellent. There is not a big selection of drinks, especially alcohol. If there are particular drinks you like, even beer or wine or any hard booze other than capirxhinas, you need to bring your own. But the juices provided were fresh and there is plentiful bottled water. The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful - although other than our guide who the hotel found for us, hardly anyone speaks anything other than Portuguese. The hotel offers a number of tours and the ones that are in the vicinity of the hotel are fun and interesting and easy. (See below for the only problem regarding this.) Paddling around in a canoe through the surrounding watery passageways through the jungle was great and our guide, Daniel, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything we were seeing and hearing.
