They also had a play set that was perfect for our toddler. The room was modern and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and we loved the shower.

We were up in the converted attic with a bedroom with en-suite facilities and a separate bedroom that joined onto our room so we were all together but enough privacy . The owner was either downstairs or off site in the adjoining property? . We don’t know as we never heard her anyway , her English was not brilliant but we got by with my poor French and Google translate . We never heard our hosts during the night or in the morning when we awoke to beautiful table full of a perfect continental breakfast with a great choice . After a lovely nights rest in comfortable beds . A shower in the morning In the unusual shower in the converted attic was a little difficult as the door didn’t close 100% that is the only negative thing but was perfectly adequate for a quick stop over . This was a perfect start to our holiday and I can’t thank the hosts enough for welcoming us so well . I really hope we get chance to go back again . The garden looked lovely and Joseane explained she did it all herself , Wow . An amazing woman . Merci .

We also made use of a very comfortable guest lounge, with guides and other books. The chateau, furnishings and design are stunning! Our bedroom (and adjoining bathroom) was one of the best we have stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. We were also encouraged to share the large and beautiful garden, where we had a welcome drink from Alexia. The chateau is very well located for travel to/from Calais, and there is plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Le Touquet. Excellent suggestions for restaurants from Alexia.
