It situates in a quiet quarter of isle of Skye with great view. I felt like l stayed at a friend house.

Situated just 20 km from Dunvegan Castle, Lon Ban House B&B features accommodation in Glendale with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the sea and mountain. Booking site was not up to date and our reservation wrongly included half board. Despite this error, Graham was really comprehensive and has adapted his service to ensure a perfect stay at Skye Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
Stein
All units at the bed and breakfast come with a seating area. A terrace with an outdoor dining area and mountain views is offered in every unit. The units feature a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. The location of the house was lovely. It was rainy but we did see the sea. There’s a picnic table that you can eat on with a splendid view. The room was big and clean with space for your belongings. The bathroom was spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast, cooked by Johny, was delicious with lots of scottish dishes. Johny was so kind with us, he showed us places to visit and they were great ! (And his dog is so cute). His crafts are also so beautiful.

The house itself was beautiful already, with a great view! But what made our stay one to remember, was our host Wayne. He told us al the nice things to do and see at Skye and gave us some tips to make our short time here great. The breakfast felt like one at a cosy family home where you could talk your day through and have a nice chat. Would recommend 10/10. Thank you Wayne!

Marvellous hosts, dream location just across from the water, never slept so well. Room was spacious with all the appointments and breakfast was well laid out for choice. Stay again in a blink.

Great location. 5 star restaurant and a charming pub just across the road. Close enough to the town of Portree but far enough away from the summer crowds. Very cosy and perfect pillows.
Accommodation that exceeded my expectations in absolutely everything. Cozy and pleasant apartments, well furnished, quiet location, which is only a 10-minute walk from the city center. In addition, the very accommodating owner, who, even though she could not meet us due to the weather, arranged everything to our satisfaction from a distance. Hazel, thank you very much.
The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Great location and a great place to stay when visiting the island. It is very quiet and has lots of light. Karen is an amazing host! Thank you, Karen, for everything! We loved it! We hope to be back there someday.
Lovely couple taking good care of travelers. The room was large, bright, quiet, and comfortable with self-service tea tray and cookies. Every morning, there are various kind of ham & cheese, freshly baked croissant, toast, coffee/tea, cereal, fresh fruits, and juices. In the afternoon, there is a freshly baked sweet, made by the owner to go with tea, after returning tired from outings.
This feels less like a pod and more like a luxury boutique hotel room. The facilities were excellent and I loved the private outdoor seating area (was lucky enough to have the weather to enjoy it). I was here alone for work, would 100% book again, and tempted to bring my partner next time for a romantic getaway!
Spacious, modern, comfortable, warm, lots of parking, private, quiet, and great kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely being able to walk around the acres of private woodland, listen to the birds, and look out onto the green trees. The inn was only a couple of minutes' walk for drinks and dining. Handy, central location for driving to the Neist Point lighthouse, Queraing, Old Man of Storr, and Portree. Phil and Karen were great hosts.
