The prestigious Almorah Hotel was built around 1841 and is a listed building of great importance. It is situated in an elevated position above the town of St Helier with magnificent views over the town and its interesting harbour filled with a mixture of fishing boats and private yachts. Amazing staff,so friendly, nothing to much trouble,wonderful food and breakfasts, spotlessly clean,brilliant views over jersey

Overlooking Bouley Bay, this 4-star guesthouse with an outdoor swimming pool occupies an countryside setting in Trinity. Originally built 200 years ago, the guesthouse maintains some original features. A very peaceful and quiet location. The junior suite that we had was in excellent condition, well equipped and comfortable. There was a bus service that came past the hotel but it wasn’t very frequent so we would advise using a car. A continental breakfast pack was supplied for the first day but was sufficiently generous to last two days. An excellent M&S food shop is ten minutes drive away in St Johns, along with a restaurant/pub. The local village has another pub and small village shop.

Some of the hotel’s rooms have a private patio and sea view. A superb hotel. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were lovely, and the location is exceptional ! I grew up in Jersey so I know the island very well, and we were over as a family visiting my father. He doesn't have enough space for us all to stay hence we thought we'd book into a local hotel instead. The Prince of Wales is literally next to Greve de Lecq beach - literally next to (as in about 30 seconds walk) so the kids loved that too.
