The property was clean, the rooms big, bed comfortable, even though it was near a road you didn’t hear the traffic, the service was kind and professional. This quaint, historic grade II listed property is 9 minutes' drive from York Dungeon and JORVIK Viking Centre. York Castle Museum is 13 minutes' drive away. Comfortable room, spacious, beds were ridiculously comfortable and soft! Bathroom was gorgeous and the whole space was lovely for us as a family of 5. Short walk into town aswell which was great!

The room is big and the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is not small, but the water is not very strong for the shower, everything is good, the staff is very nice, the breakfast provided was very good, the location is good, there is a cafe, you can go to cheer football.

Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room with large bed. Baby cot was provided, the mattress was quite thin so we used our travel one and all was ok.
