The units are equipped with heating facilities. We were so pleasantly surprised with this accommodation. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff member who looked after us was extremely welcoming and helpful. The finishing throughout the hotel were impeccable and every room was immaculate. The king sized bed in our room was literally the most comfortable I have ever slept in! I had to ask the brand of the linens because they were THAT comfortable. Very spacious bathroom. We left the guest house and immediately recommended it to everyone we saw the following day 🙂

The location was perfect as we could walk downtown in just a few minutes. The hosts Eileen and Denis were an absolute delight, as they were kind, helpful and great conversationalists. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting in the bright breakfast room. We travelled as two couples, and there was a comfortable room where we could play cards in the evening.

Ballycannon Lodge Hotel is situated in Croagh village, off the main Limerick to Killarney Road (N21) in Croagh Co. Limerick and is just a few minutes from Adare village making it an ideal tourist base for exploring the West of Ireland and the Shannon region. The owner Mary was were welcoming as soon as we arrived & allow us a slightly early check in. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable & clean. There was no pressure to check out in the morning & Mary personally brought us to their lovely restaurant in the garden centre for breakfast. This was delicious & staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend Ballycannon Lodge & will definitely be our go to place to book if staying in Adare again.

Excellent wifi and a short walk to the small village of Kilmallock.
