Centrally located on Strand Street by the waterfront, Murphys is a family run Pub, Restaurant and Bed & Breakfast. The Pub serves food daily from 12noon, live traditional music & ballads can be enjoyed nightly during the Summer months. Location couldn’t have been better. owner was very friendly and helpful. we ate 3 times in the pub and the food was excellent.

Ciara is amazing friendly and welcoming, Killaren House is a lovely place to stay, clean, great location, the room was beautifully decorated, If you forgot anything Ciara had it, she thought of everything. Breakfast was lovely, the pancakes were a hit with the girls. I will be looking to stay here again the next time we visit.

Breakfast served daily with freshly brewed Arabica coffee, loose-leaf breakfast tea and a buffet table with homemade breads, yogurts, preserves, honey, cheese, cereals, fresh fruits and juice. A cooked to order breakfast is also available. First off, the property is absolutely stunning! But that doesn’t compare to the personal touch this place has. Upon checking in, I was given a run down of the best places in town for food, for live music etc As well, given super helpful tips for my day around Killarney and travels beyond. Food was fabulous and tasty. Fresh fruit, home made yogurt bread etc, plus a hot meal made to order. Will definitely be returning to spend longer time here

Despite being so close to the town centre, the house also enjoys the serenity and beauty of the nearby National Park and lakes, making it an ideal base for hill walking in County Kerry and the south west region. Location, facilities, spacious and confortable room, easy and free parking, friendly and informative staff and specially the kind and attentive lady at the breakfast room every morning (my son can't forget the cork tea offered by her with such kindness). I will definitely stay again when I get back to Killarney.

If there is something like the perfect place with the perfect host - this is the place. It truely cannot be better. We came by bike on the Ring of Kerry. We had a place to put the bike in and load the battery. We experienced a very warm-hearted host couple who offer superbly clean and comfortable rooms. The support is excellent. The view from the house down onto the creek is one of the best we ever had on our many bike trips.
