I've traveled to many places and stayed in a variety of guesthouses and hotels, but Smile Hub Kandy truly stands out. This guesthouse offers exceptional amenities, including a free washing machine with detergent, plenty of dining and lounging spaces, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerators, cooling facilities, and complimentary tea and coffee. Every room and common area is impeccably clean, and there's even a convenient area to hang your washing. The host, Yamada, is incredibly helpful and a pleasure to chat with—I really admire his vision and the unique concept he's created for this guesthouse. I feel fortunate to have had the chance to stay here. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, don’t miss the opportunity to experience it!

At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. This stay was lovely. The accommodation was very comfortable with a great view. The hosts were really kind and approachable and helped us get a ticket for the Kandyan dance and he gave some suggestions on where to go in Kandy. Breakfast was really nice and the host was chatty and made us feel very comfortable during our stay.

This place is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city. So much thought has gone into making this such a special, funky guest house on the way to the tower. The food was delicious, try one of his Arrack Cocktails!

At the bed and breakfast, some units are equipped with a coffee machine and wine or champagne. Villa had all amenities and was kept exceptionally clean. It was just a 1 night stay. Wish we had stayed longer. and caretakers led by Raj were exceptional. They took care of every need. Food they prepared for dinner and complimentary breakfast had great taste and went with our specific needs. Can't ask anything more. Would highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem in the mountains of Kandy, away from traffic and noise of the downtown. I was so happy that we stayed there. First and most important is the manager Maxi, a generous and kind man who helped us with everything and we were surrounded by care for the whole visit (short unfortunately). The room itself is huge, we had 1 big living room with king bed and another small room with queen bed with bathroom. Very good shower with constant well pressure of hot water. The balcony is lovely with spectacular view to the hills and local houses. Breakfast was on the open terrace and very tasty with fresh juices and nicely cooked eggs. Once in Kandy I definitely come back to the place as it is well maintained and the management is really taking care of the guests.
