Casa Tawny is located in Pinhão, 19 km from Natur Waterpark, 26 km from Douro Museum, as well as 36 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. Paula made us feel so welcome and her breakfast service was first class. She was so helpful with any issues we had and made us feel like family

This was a truly delightful place to stay. The hosts are thoughtful and generous, the room was comfortable and large. Each morning we were provided more than enough breakfast including bread, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit and sweets. There are also oranges for juicing, coffee and tea facilities, and a washing machine. The check-in process was very easy. We spent hours sitting at the front of our room with a port, coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice just watching the world go by with a delightful view of the river and the town. The location is in town but towards the top of the hill. Being fairly fit and active we walked from the river to our room many times (including with our suitcases). This certainly gets the heart rate going and is steep with lots of steps, but is absolutely manageable on foot if you don't mind some exertion. Otherwise consider if you will be needing taxis to get to this gorgeous spot. Overall delightful and thankyou to Antonio josé and Cristina for hosting us.

It was located in the old town with lots of shops and restaurants. It is a new property with four spacious rooms with 12 foot ceilings. It was once part of the post office building and the owner Paulo has taken a great measure of detail in adding a postal theme to the property. If you admire history and culture you will want to meet Paulo for a wonderful orientation. Although breakfast isn’t included there is a spacious area with utensils / dishes and coffee and tea for you to prepare on your own. There is a supermarket just a four minute walk away. As with locations in many old town areas parking is not included however there was ample paid on street parking within a one minute walk.

Quintal do Grémio er staðsett í Torre de Moncorvo og er með einkasundlaug og sundlaugarútsýni. Gististaðurinn er með garð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu og er 33 km frá Longroiva-hverunum. Charming, small, family-run accommodation in the center of the old town of Torre de Moncorvo. Very well-kept and clean rooms with tasteful furnishings and attention to detail. The small garden with pool is beautifully landscaped and also very well maintained. Suzanna and Andres are very friendly and warm hosts. The breakfast deserves five stars. One evening, they cooked for us because there were no recommended restaurants open in the area. It was the best dinner of our week-long trip. The wine selection is also remarkable.

Quinta Vale de Lobos Douro er gististaður í Folgosa, 14 km frá Douro-safninu og 25 km frá Our Lady of Remedies-helgistaðnum. Þaðan er útsýni yfir ána. Everything was great! The rooms very comfortable, the food very tasty, the location impressive and the service extraordinary!! We loved it!

Quinta da Costinha er nýlega enduruppgert gistiheimili í Alijó og býður upp á sólarverönd, einkabílastæði og íþróttaaðstöðu. The property was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. Comfort, cleanliness, everything we may ask for.

DOURO B&B Avenida er staðsett í Resende, í innan við 30 km fjarlægð frá Douro-safninu og 31 km frá Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. Boðið er upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi. Very kind and helpful owner. Good breakfast with some home made typical sweets.

Gististaðurinn er 1,6 km frá Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, 12 km frá Douro Museum og 36 km frá Natur Waterpark. 6/4 de Lamego býður upp á gistirými í Lamego. Great location, easily walkable to most local attractions. Contemporary in design, lovely decor. Met promptly as we were not able to receive check in messages. This was no fault of the owner. Lovely breakfast lots of choice. Highly recommend.

Quinta do Fojo Valonguinho, Barrô er staðsett í Barrô, 16 km frá Our Lady of Remedies-helgistaðnum og 19 km frá Douro-safninu. Boðið er upp á grillaðstöðu og fjallaútsýni. Amazing view! Beatiful house had everything you could need. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing surroundings with vineyards and fruit trees. Friendly owners. Higly recommended.
