The place is beautiful, clean, and comfortable—perfect for groups, with a BBQ area available. The bathroom is lovely, and the location shouldn’t be a problem if you rent a car or arrange transfers. The TV offers a wide variety of movies to enjoy. The dining area is right next to the house, which is very convenient. The cook and the host are both kind and take great care of guests. The breakfast is simple but delicious and very fitting.

A great stay! The couple that runs this is very nice and will help you with transportation throughout Gubei for a fair cost. They also will cook you home cooked meals for a fee.

The location was perfect, walking distance from the railway station. It is clean, comfortable, and the staff is responsive and very helpful. They go beyond what would be expected.

Everything , I’m writing this from the train station about to leave . The setting is perfect to go around the multiple parts of the Great Wall , there is one unrestored a short walk from the hotel . Honestly this place and its people are amazing . You will feel at home, they arrange everything for you and the food is delicious. It feels like home .

This was one of the most pleasant stays I’ve had in a while. Lily, Yang, and their kids were exceptionally kind and considerate. Always attentive and helped in any way possible. Advised us on times and routes for the Great Wall. Being 10 min walk away with an amazing view from their rooftop was well worth the stay. The food they cook was always top notch.
