Very unique. Gracious hosts. Very accommodating. Arranged transportation for us to/from Beijing and to/from Watertown. Breakfast good too! Highly recommend!!

Absolute best place to stay if you plan to visit the great wall! There is no words to properly describe how good the experience is, everything was beyond my expectations, and even more when you consider the standart in China Rooms are big and comfy, bathroom very clean with all you need (even the mirror fit a European size!), a very nice common room with couches and a table to meet all the guests But more than that, you have a lovely host that will be there to help you and arrange everything for you, always with a smile! Everything is smooth and easy, make sure you try the dinner with everyone before leaving and don't forget to pet these cats!

The location was perfect, walking distance from the railway station. It is clean, comfortable, and the staff is responsive and very helpful. They go beyond what would be expected.

A great place to stay to visit the great wall and experience a peaceful Chinese village. The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.
