In 10 days in Cape Verde it was my favourite stay! I loved the location. You wake up in the middle of nature, hearing frogs and birds. At night you can see the stars. Next to a beautiful waterfall and Xoxo valley hike. The staff is helpful and friendly. We had them cook dinner for us which we shared with other guests. Incidentally, there was a power cut - the staff cooked the dinner with candlelight and then we also ate it with candlelight. An experience to remember!

Amazing experience! You feel right at home in the very heart of the amazing Vale do Paúl!! Kate is a great host: speaks all languages possible (😀), has all the guests dinner together and has a thorough knowledge of the entire island, giving great tips for hikes and restaurants! Staff was extremely friendly as well! The walk up the hill to get to Casa is quite steep but it’s like you feel rewarded once you get into this little paradise at the end of it!! I will be back for sure!

Secluded courtyard room just in front of the little pool. We loved outstay here. It was peaceful with a nice sized clean room and bathroom. A delicious and varied breakfast was included in the price and our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful with choosing treks and organising onward transport. Highly recommend

Everything was absolutely perfect, this is the best place I’ve stayed in in Cape Verde and I’ve visited plenty of islands! From the kindest, 24/7 available staff, to the magical location, the great quality of everything in the apartment, view, wide space, nice breakfast, available extras, excellent cleaning, flexible check in and out, everything! If you are looking for an opportunity to get in touch and support a beatiful local community this is the place to be. You will eat (the best!) local food and if you’re willing to, you will be embraced by a whole community that is always smiling and likes a good chat. the breakfast and dinners are plentiful and very very good. You can easily pass on having lunch during the day when you are hiking. the rooms are very confy and you will have all you need. the view and the surroundings are stunning. this is an association created and led by local women. they will arrange the transportation if you ask for it.

You get an apartment in the house of the owner, with a seperate entrance. There is a kitchen, bathroom, shower and basic amenities. There even is a minimarket that is run by the owner directly in the building. The place is directly in the Xôxô valley with great views from the window.
