The location of the place is truly special. At night - absolute silence and the sky full of stars, while during the day the sound of bees buzzing in the beautiful valley. The house is simply but tastefully decorated. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I particularly like that the renovation was done in a minimal way and as such the historical value of the house is intact. Our host, Nestor, is always responsive with communication. We didn't get to meet him but his parents showed us around and welcomed us with vegetables and fruits from their garden. Internet is good enough for basic work but not the fastest especially when two people are using video calls. However, everything else is so wonderful that we'd come back anytime.

To obtain the keys, we had to call the reservation phone number, then enter the PIN code into a lock box and unlock the door. Host Pablo arrived shortly after, ensuring that everything was in order. The view is fantastic. We had lunch at the nearby restaurant, La Casa de la Almendra. Roque Nublo is close by. The house is well-equipped; we had everything we needed. Staying here is ideal if you enjoy peace, silence, fresh air, and are willing to sacrifice a bit of hotel comfort for the experience of being in nature and enjoying the view. It's certainly not for everyone, but when we weigh the pros and cons, we are satisfied with our choice, and we will remember this stay!

Location is perfect, very peaceful, quiet and secluded. Less than an hour to the nearest shop. Bus stop is literally just outside. Privacy terrace and sunbathing area are amazing, with compelling views and outdoor shower! Very well equipped kitchen, washing machine is great, plenty of towels. Heating in each room was a bonus as it was very cool at night. Absolutely loved to stay there and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. PS: The long, steep and narrow steps were great for daily exercise, otherwise it's easy to get very lazy and unfit as it was too comfortable 😀

The house had plenty of space for 2 people (it has 2 bed rooms). The building quality is very good. Everything was clean, practical, and tasteful. The person who restored this house to the present form deserves some big kudos. Really good job. We used the barbecue and the fireplace. The host provided some charcoal and some firewood. If you need more you need to buy it yourself, but this is fine. The views are good, facilities are very good, if you are planning to go hiking the location is great, because you can start right from the house.
