Everything was perfect. Attention to detail was exceptional and the property is exactly as it appears in the photos. A beautiful place to spend a few days relaxing as a family. The swimming pool and outside areas are perfect for children.

First class warmful welcome from the owners. The most kind, friendly, helpful and generous I have ever met when visiting a place to stay. The latter is beyond amazing, in a very calm and relaxing environment in the country side, encircled by out of sight olive trees, offering outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and pool table. The breakfast is delicious with local and various food and drinks. The rooms are very cosy with excellent amenities. There's also a very nice small town (Tocón) nearby with restaurants and local shops.

The spaciousness of both the inside and the outside of the accommodation was seriously incredible! We were with a group of 10 people on our annual friend group holiday and we had the absolute best time. The quiet, the facilities and the comfort were all there and more. The very nice people are also really approachable and most friendly (thank you so much!). We absolutely recommend this accommodation! Also, if you want, the paintball court next to it is also very much recommended as the service, courts and staff are a 10/10!

We spent our first night here on a 5-day long trip in south Spain. The Hostal is at the beginning of the village, very easy to find. The host was nice. The room is perfect for a night stay. Clean. Shop is under the hostal, you can buy everything.

Beautiful peaceful location. Mountain views from the pool terrace, and a lovely walk from the cottage over the hills to Montefrio. Lydia and Johan were perfect hosts - really friendly and always on hand to offer advice and helpful suggestions for places to visit. The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped. The weather was too cool for swimming during our visit, but we were still able to enjoy sitting on the terrace and listening to the little steam running along the valley below. The country road to the cottage from the main A road is narrow and slightly rough, but you soon get used to it - just take it slowly and enjoy the scenery!
