The house is beautifully renovated, with everything you would need. The bedrooms are roomy, the family room is great, and the pool is small but perfectly adequate for cooling off. The village is really lovely and there is so much to do in the surrounding area. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys and this house has plenty of space, and good wifi - all important for the teenagers! Recommend a visit to Collins for evening drinks and tapas, and to Druids for wine, pizza and deli type groceries.

Beautiful and large property with all the mod-cons. Stairs very steep and will be a problem for those less mobile, but a lovely place.

Our stay at Abbaye de Capservy was idyllic. Arriving in the late afternoon, the light radiated thru the halls and our short wait in the reception room was a respite after navigating with only French on our GPS. The host, was ever so charming, and made us feel most welcome. Our room was very large overlooking the arches of the front garden and the surrounding vineyard lands and hills. The morning breakfast was very sufficient. Our request for dinner locations was immediately responded to with suggestions in nearby towns including a local market which we chose to partake in the food and local atmosphere. I shed a tear when we left because honestly, I didn't want to leave.

This property is in a beautiful , secluded forest setting close to Carcassonne city. We had a beautiful , comfortable room looking out to the pool and forest . The breakfasts were absolutely delicious with fresh, homemade products every day. The hosts Pascale and Michel were exceptional- so kind and friendly and they went totally out of their way to welcome us and to help us enjoy our stay. Really lovely people who we enjoyed getting to know during our stay.

We loved everything. The house is very beautiful and the room spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. Stacey’s breakfasts were very delicious. Stacey and Alex were fantastic hosts. Making sure we felt comfortable, had everything we needed and gave us great tips to visit the region. On top, the pool’s water is salted, which was a pleasant surprise. The house is located 15m from Carcassonne, perfect to visit the region. Looking forward to come back!
