This is an excellent base to explore the Loire Valley as it's right in the middle. Fully fitted kitchen, large dining area inside and another one in the garden where you also find lounge chairs to relax in the afternoon after castle-hopping. The house is like new and spotlessly clean.

Truly exceptional and very private place to stay along the Cher river. The apartment is quiet, very clean, super comfortable and a perfect place to stay as a couple. There were no other guests, and we felt really at home. We loved the beautiful garden, greenhouse and all the outdoor space and used it a lot. There is also a small fully equipped kitchen for cooking some meals at home. Last but not least, the host Denis and his partner are very friendly, hospitable and kind and proposed lots of things to do in the surrounding area. They also lent us bicycles and helmets to cycle around the area. Cannot recommend Clos Falaw enough!

A very clean, spacious and comfortable property with tasteful and inviting decorations. Abundant supplies of all things you would need on a vacation. The host gave fantastic recommendations to nearby weekend market, restaurants and attraction sites to visit, leaving very fun and pleasant memories for our family reunion. Thank you. We will spread the words and share photos of the place with friends and families. This place is a real gem that deserves high praises.

Everything was perfect about our stay! Hosts were wonderful. Very personable . Property is beyond beautiful. A true Chateau with incredible grounds for walking .The host dogs were a real treat. Owners set fires for us in the sitting room, played classical piano and hosted cocktails. We felt like family and we very much enjoyed their company. They also honored our private time. The breakfasts were another treat, very generous , served in the formal dinning room, with friendly service and a warm cozy fireplace .We were joined by their adorable, affectionate canine co hosts which made it more special. Location is perfect for relaxing and getting away from city congestion yet central for visiting other Chateaus. Do recommend having a car for transportation. This was a true fantastic experience. One of our best in our 5 weeks in France. Thank You to the meticulously restored Chateau de Beauvais and its very gracious owners and hosts. We definitely will return when we get back to The Loire.
