Beautiful house, wonderful people. What can I add?... Simply awesome.

The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable and we spent a lovely hour with them and some of their friends in their beautiful seating area in the garden. They have restored the property both inside and out to the highest standard whilst retaining its character . The decor was absolutely beautiful with great attention to detail. The room had everything you could possibly need and more besides. Breakfast was lovely and was served in their beautiful big kitchen. We simply couldn't fault this wee gem of a place in any way.

The place is fantastic, so are the owners. It's a pitty we only stayed one night. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The territory around the house is fascinating. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Wonderful friendly family who could not have been more welcoming. A very nice room in a lovely house with a beautiful garden and pool. Great breakfast too!

Dwelling is 17th century cottage which has been tastefully refurbished internally with beautiful new bathroom and ensuite. Cottage retains traditional character features of fireplace.

This is a true gem. The courtyard is a very pleasant space for aperitif, dinner. The room was everything we expected with plenty of characters and our host Jane is so accommodating and helpful.

We had an enchanting stay at this delightful accommodation. The beautiful furnishings, meticulously curated down to every detail, made us feel like we were in a dreamy retreat. Despite having three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the space was perfect for the two of us, creating an intimate and comfortable atmosphere. The thoughtful touches throughout the property, from the flickering candles and Christmas lights to the little Christmas tree, added a festive charm. It was a haven for cocooning, with a well-equipped kitchen that boasted everything we needed, including a Tassimo coffee maker (bring your own pods), microwave, and toaster. Netflix, a selection of books, games, and DVDs provided ample entertainment options. The bedroom, with its incredibly comfortable bed and lovely sheets, ensured a restful night's sleep. Our furry companions were equally spoiled, with a warm welcome that included a water bowl and plenty of dog blankets. The heating options, including a pellet oven, fireplace, and electric radiators, kept us warm and cozy throughout our stay. The hosts were not only accommodating but also went above and beyond with a fantastic welcome basket featuring cheeses, meats, wine, and chocolate, along with milk and water in the fridge. The hospitality extended to the surrounding village, offering a picturesque setting with shops just a five-minute drive away and several restaurants within easy reach. Moreover, the location proved ideal for nature enthusiasts, with a wonderful area for walks that our dog thoroughly enjoyed. The overall experience was heightened by the convenience of a dishwasher and washing machine, ensuring a stress-free stay. With its combination of comfort, warmth, and thoughtful details, this accommodation stands out as a perfect retreat in a beautiful village. We wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning to this idyllic haven in the future.

Fantastic weekend break in a beautiful, picturesque village. The accommodation is charming and rustic and equipped with everything you might need, especially the kitchen, which feels more like a home than a holiday let. Simon & Dianne were very helpful hosts and made us feel most welcome. The village has some lovely restaurants and cafes within a couple of hundred feet, especially Jeux de Pots which was our favourite. Overall, an amazing short break and a place tgat we'll return to very soon.
