An incredible hidden gem. A great value stay in a genuine 18th century château which has been very sympathetically renovated by the owners. A charming family business. Real French cold dinner and breakfast served with minimum fuss. The owners kindly gave us a lift to the nearby La Promenade, the best restaurant in the world which was one reason for us staying here. Absolutely love this place. We did not have time to explore the park but the sunsets from the front courtyard were stunning

Sally was an excellent host. Generous and welcoming. The gite was very comfortable and gave us a very relaxing and tranquil place after a day out exploring.

Extremely helpful hosts,,, the property is very well equipped and all facilities are available. A very warm and clean bathroom and very pleasant outdoor area available to guests. A relatively new eco-friendly venture ,,, very nice . Thanks for a lovely stay!

Rustic and charming Chateau with a great pool area and close to some beautiful villages. Katrine is by far the most fun and nicest host you could ever wish for. She went out of her way to look after us. would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic 2 nights stay - the hosts were wonderful . The location SUPERB. Gardens so beautiful, unsculptured, natural and interesting. Plants, flowers, stream with bridge and amazing sculptures and quaint "bits" and pieces everywhere to discover and "wonder"! Property and garden obviously treasured and loved by the owners, Martine and Joel Joubert. We discovered a wasp colony inside an iron water pump that we showed Joel - he was amazing getting his head really close and explaining that there were dozens of species but that he wouldn't disturb this "family" as they were harmless. Brave, exceptionally knowledgable and educated man. Everywhere there was a mix of old and new artefacts - a feast for your eyes. The breakfasts outside were lovely with the most perfect view of the garden. Could have sat in the garden all day had it not been for the fact that we were visiting friends that lived nearby. We WILL most definitely return to this wonderful, unique chambres d'hote.
