Best of the best! Shutters on windows you can close or enjoy the beautifully filtered light coming through from the gorgeous curtains in the peaceful mornings. The owners go out of their way to host you as if you are in a 5 star resort. Everything is perfection, including the homemade yogurt and 6 different varieties of jams you are served with your coffee and croissants every morning! It’s a dreamy place to stay. They also recommended a restaurant that we already had reservations for (thanks to our winemaker friends) and it was the best meal of all the Michelin star restaurants we were lucky enough to try in Europe! L’O des Vignes is nearby in case you want to share the wine pairing with your driving companion.

We would love to stay all day long sitting in front of our large balcony window, enjoying the setting, the view, the calm, and doing nothing more. Everything was perfect, we haven't need to go anywhere. But the region offers so much that we couldn't resist. Of course Cluny with the 3D projection and the virtual reconstruction of the biggest medieval religious buiding is a must have. But we reccomend also the trips to smaller Romanesque churches scattered throughout the region. Chapelle de Moines in Berze-le-Ville with excellent wall paintings (you can take combined ticket with Cluny), Eglise Saint-Pierre de Brancion with the tomb of a crusader of XIII century (facing him touched me the most!), Eglise Saint-Martin in Chapaize and magical ruins Saint-Hippolyte in Bonnay (not to miss). We avoided highways and we chose to drive along local roads to experience full beaty of region. Thank you, Bambina (and Alain:)), for your hospitality<3 We hope to come back.

Beautiful combination of architect designed modern interior and old exterior. The balcony in the larger room - we could have spent all day and night with those views. A lovely hike nearby. And really friendly (winemaking) hosts! Would definitely go back for a longer stay.
