Peter and Edith are amazing hosts. We loved the private estate feel to the property. We were greeted with glasses of wine in their lovely garden as the chickens roamed around. The rooms were big, clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was outstanding with locally sourced food. We were lucky enough to be there when Edith was cooking dinner for guests. She only cooks dinner two times per week but don’t miss it if you can. Peter is very knowledgeable about local wine and places to visit. Be sure to check out his wine cellar.

The family, Jake, Danielle and Graham couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The superb renovations to the beautiful chateau are a credit to their hard work and love for the property. The food was delicious. Our room was beautiful with lots of space and tastefully decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our poodle Molly was welcomed and it was lovely to meet Merlin the resident spaniel. The location was superb, opposite a beautiful lake that you can walk around with a dog and swim in warmer weather. The chateau is easily accessed from and to the motorway. We were travelling north from Spain, stopped at the chateau overnight on our way to Calais. It was all blissfully easy. We will return 😁
