the photos don’t do the place justice , it’s all been beautifully renovated, we loved it , good breakfast too with home made apple cake I think this place will improve each year , lovely host too , very helpful and obliging. we hope we can visit again soon .

The property was set in spectacular grounds with wonderful walks around the lakeside. Very easy to get to.. beautiful attention to detail in front of the owners chateau. Safe and secure with parking for our car and the Wi-Fi was very good. It was warm and comfortable and had plenty of storage.

A beautiful building in stunning surroundings, created by a marvellous friendly and hospitable couple. They have restored a wonderful old 19th century chateau and gardens.

The location of the property was lovely. Very peaceful & close proximity to nearby towns & villages (by car). The exterior matches the pictures. Inside it's a a nice featured property with a well stocked kitchen, and the bedrooms were a decent size. The WiFi was broken on arrival but this was fixed the next day, although the speed was only good for one device at a time.

The location is perfect in a quiet back road in the hamlet of St Hellier overlooking the Varenne valley in the beautiful Pays-de-Bray clay vale district. The facilities are new and top grade and the private parking and garden are safe havens - this is a perfect Normandy cottage for two adults.
