The host and house were nothing short of AMAZING! They accommodated my family and I on an extremely short notice. They took the time to ask us what we wanted for breakfast, what time was best for us to eat, as well as made sure we had everything we could have needed! The location was absolutely beautiful.

I loved Shandra, the owner, I loved the lens, the pillows, the towels. She was a great hostess. The place was comfortable the temperature was comfortable, it was a little further away from cognac than I would’ve liked and it was a wee bit difficult to find because our car navigation would not enter this address as a valid address but our phone ultimately did.

Everything was simply perfect! We stayed for 7 nights and had the most wonderful stay. Jonathan & Samantha are fantastic hosts who make sure you have a warm and personal welcome. The gite is super comfortable and has all the facilities you need. The surroundings are simply beautiful and peaceful and it's a joy to wake everyday and have such freedom. We took our dog with us and it was a true pleasure to have the ability to have her enjoy the garden and the big field in front of the gite freely. We also visited Cognac (15min drive), Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion and the beach (all approx.1h20 drive) which are all definitely worth visiting!

La Grande Suite was fabulous. The space, decor and facilities were first rate and the bed was one of the comfiest we've ever had. The pool and grounds were beautiful and there were some lovely extra touches (coffee, tea, biscuits, gowns etc). Our 10th stay of a 6 week road trip and by far the best accommodation.
