The house was in a quiet village. Nice size room . Great at night sitting out in front Watching the bats fly overhead. And people in village very helpful As time went on we come to see what a nice house it could have been . And being joined next to the church with the bells every HR. We loved

This is the one of the most fabulous and authentic accommodations we have stayed in. It’s part of an old winery estate that’s been beautifully restored and decorated. The bedrooms are delightful, with comfy beds and lovely view. The location was perfect for us. We could park our car right out the front, walk the canal du midi in the morning (directly behind property) and head a few minutes into town for breakfast at a cafe on the canal. The river Aude is a 3 min walk away too. It has a coffee machine and a great kitchen, so it’s self sufficient if you want to eat there. We sat out on the terrace with a cheese plate, as it was too lovely to leave once we had arrived. Also a dining table inside. Can’t recommend highly enough.

This is one of the best place I stayed! Everything is perfect. People are sooo kind and helpful. Food is excellent in the restaurant. Rooms are very clean. The house is from 13th century and I felt as if I Lived in a castle room. I will come back.

The food paired with the wine was great. Each course came with its wine. We discovered new wines that hd never tried before and liked all. The hostess and the host were also very friendly and nice. The castle and its surroundings is beautiful and allows the guest to imagine living during the medieval period.
