Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated St Duthus Villa Guesthouse offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

Beautiful property, very clean and comfortable made to feel very welcome. Very attentive at breakfast but otherwise left to our own devices which we like - not in a bad way, could contact and ask anything we wanted. Great selection for a continental breakfast!

Shandwick House is great value and an excellent place to stay in Tain. The room was clean and bright and the breakfast was excellent. The host was very approachable and accommodating. The nearby restaurant in the converted train station provided excellent dinners.

beautifully decorated, extremely functional, wonderful location, very nice owners, efficient check-in (remote). Price-wise - in this location - unbeatable. A brilliant place as a base for the NC500 tour. Additionally, there is a laundry on the premises and a 10-minute road to Tain (shops - Tesco, Lidl, Asda, etc.). If possible, I'll definitely come back! I recommend it - 11/10.

St Duthus Hotel Apartment, allotjament vacacional a Tain

Located in Tain and only 44 km from Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club, St Duthus Hotel Apartment provides accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking.

There was plenty of space to accommodate the 4 of us and the whole apartment was fresh and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and had a table which seated 4 people. The living room had lots of seats and a sofa, with an electric fire which kept us cosy. There was 1 ensuite bedroom and the other bedroom had a private bathroom beside the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable in both bedrooms. The apartment was above the St. Duthus Hotel but was quiet and peaceful. The staff and owner (Kirsty) were extremely friendly and helpful. Alan, the manager, couldn't have done more to ensure both our stay in the apartment and our evenings in the restaurant and days exploring were exceptional. We will be back!

The location is perfect to explore the Highlands, the beds are extra comfortable and the hot tub is a nice addition. Linda is an amazing host. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Breakfast was simple but good. Lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as ham, cheese, bread and orange juice.

Cansats de menjar ràpid i fish and chips, vam poder sopar bé per unes 70 lliures. La simpàtica i amabilitat dels treballadors, fa molt temps que es dediquen a l'hostaleria i es nota en el servei
