Amazing village, amazing house, amazing everything. Nivritos Traditional Homes are luxurious place to stay in the middle of welcoming mountain village for more than reasonable price. We have stayed at AGGELIKI. Everything exceeded our expectations: view from the rooftop balcony, standard of the whole place, the way it was furnished, bathroom, kitchen - just everything! We would stay there much longer if we could. Whole place was so clean you could eat from the floor. Big plus for possibility to drink tap water - it’s very environment-friendly as it prevents you to buy plastic bottles. Next to the houses there is a tavern run by amazing Greek couple - Mrs and Ms Tsakalakis. Homemade Cretan food and small shop to purchase souvenirs.

Just about everything! These apartments were spacious and comfortable and spotless. Unlike some places that feel as though they were designed and built as inexpensively as possible, these felt like they were designed with care and attention to detail. This as a place you could live in. Even the pictures on the walls were real family photos. This made our stay wonderfully relaxing . Dimitri our host was everything you could ask for in a host. He was always engaging and helpful. He accommodated all of our requests with aplomb. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful with plenty of choice and fresh regional food. He happily arranged travel fir us to visit Heraklion with a driver — Nikos — who lived up to the very high standards of Nana as a whole. if you need transport and he is available I whole heartedly recommend him.

Location was great. In the center of the village, but very quiet. Cozy, well lit, old fashioned Cretan home. Except Sunday morning, when the church bells rang which we were warned about. This was actually nice, and we saw the community gathering there. Our hosts and even our next door neighbor brought us food and special treats. Our hosts and family members were very generous and friendly. There were a few nice restaurants nearby. Also some fun hikes.

Very well equipped and modern with everything that you could possibly need. The Kitchen is the best equipped that we have ever stayed in! Also the bedroom has everything you could need for your hair. The property was super clean and tastefully decorated.Very comfortable sofa and the TV has Netflix. There is a very large outdoor area with table and chairs and another comfortable seating area. There are facilities for you to BBQ and prepare meat outside. The owners have taken great care to decorate this property to a high standard. They are super friendly and met us at the house and took us to Vatamos lake and for a drink. They then invited us to join them at a traditional Cretan wedding which was fabulous!
