You will arrive as a guest and you will leave as a family member. The hospitality is incredible. I felt very welcome and comfortable. You are invited to join them to have some local food or drink together, if you like. But if you want to do your own thing, that's good too. A great place to stay! Hot showers. A true homestay with a lovely, welcoming family and staff. Very quiet and natural surroundings, it's in the middle of rice fields. Organizing trips, hikes, transport, everything can be arranged. Highly recommended!

Our chalet was amazing. Set on the edge of a ravine, overlooking Rinjani volcano and a waterfall, with huge picture windows on two sides, it was an incredible setting. Having a troop of grey monkeys playing outside in the garden next to us was magical too.

Great room, easy walk to the waterfalls. Owners were delightful, honest, great to chat to, able to help with anything and never seemed bothered! Easily helped me rent a good scooter and organise transport to my next location. Thank you, I would definitely stay again!!

Absolutely loved the place. Surroundings, view, gardens, rooms and swimming pool absolutely beautiful. Mr Di, family and staff were warm, welcoming, always helpful and ready with a warm smile. The food being it breakfast, lunch or supper was superb and you could taste the love, pride and joy that it was made with in every bite. Whether you want to do one of several trails or just laze about reading, Pondok Guru Bakti Cottages is the place to be. Thank you once again for an enjoyable stay.

Gorgeous homestay with the most lovely family running it. Honestly can’t have a better experience staying in Senaru then staying here. Yacob can take you to the waterfalls, rice fields, sunset and more! They also organize any trek you would like to do and their prices and guides are 10/10.

Our host and his family made us feel welcome and at home, we actually stayed longer since we liked our stay so much. The room is simple but what more you need when the host and his family took us in like their own and we spent such a lovely time with Ardi having a few beers, fresh coconuts and his homemade rice wine having great conversations. Not to mention delicious homemade food from his wife! Ardi also arranged Rinjani trip for us with his brothers company Rinjani trek adventure, which was amazing and we would definitely recommend booking with them. This homestay was one of the higlights of our time in Lombok and when we will be in Lombok again we will stay here for sure! If you are looking for a homestay with lovely people that will go above and beyond to make you happy and help you with your travel plans, tours, trekking and simply just everything you need whilst making you feel at home and always smiling, this is the place. 😊 To Ardi and his lovely wife and family, thank you so so much for having us, it was an absolute pleasure and we hope we will meet again! 😊
