This is a wonderful cottage and Phil and Val are great hosts. The cottage is a refurbished 1890's traditional stone house that has been beautifully renovated and updated while maintaining original features. It is located on a windy ridge with a great view. The road the last two miles is a single lane, hilly adventure, but if you have been driving in Ireland for any length of time, you can manage it.

Had welcome gifts water, wine, biscuits such a nice touch! The beds were so comfortable and they had everything on hand for my little boy such as travel cot & highchair. It was lovely to have something to ourselves not rely on pugs for our dinner. Having our own private space that wasn’t a hotel was also very nice. The cottage had a great view and as only a short drive into the village. I highly recommend this location if you are spending a couple days in Doolin.
