We spent a most memorable week at Cottage by the Sea. The cottage, garden and views are just lovely and our dog, Maggie, loved exploring the secure garden. We met John next door who was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The cottage is the perfect location from which to explore West Cork - a week just wasn’t long enough!!

Everything was outstanding. Host was so kind and helpful with everything. Room was spotless and had an amazing sunset view. Beds were extra comfortable and linen was fairly new. Good breakfast options. The location is very relaxing.

Kitchen well stocked, plenty of comfortable seating in the living and dining areas. Pretty location and welcoming host. Bernie provided tea and cookies on our arruval, and had fresh flowers, which was a nice welcoming touch!

We love everything about this house (the layout, the decorations and the cleanliness)! Thanks to Shelley, the Owner for providing a welcome hamper gift (a delicious carrot cake & a bottle of wine) 😃 In summary, it has good wifi, Netflix, play area with dart game and pool table! The owner also provided clear instructions on how to access the gate/house and equipment/facilities at the house prior check-in. The kitchen which is located upstairs is complete with cooking utensils, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc. The master bedroom which is located downstairs is big with comfy super king bed! The second double bedroom upstairs also really comfortable. Both have ensuite bathrooms and veryy clean! Oh ya, the heater at the house were well functioned! My family drove from Dublin to this house which I suggest for future guest to use Maps App (iPhone) instead of Google Map because some area along the way might have poor network connection will not support Google Map. If you use Maps app, it will still be working via offline maps, so you will not be lost 😅 Last but not least, I highly recommend that you guys try the breakfast/brunch at the Bean and Berry Cafe, located less than 2km from the house (very2 close to the beach), they have very delicious pastries, sandwiches, coffee, tea.

Ardnavaha House is an excellent property located in beautiful countryside outside of Clonakilty. Our apartment was very good with all expected facilities, which was much appreciated. Location was excellent to access Kinsale and surrounding area, with great beach walks around Clonakilty. Gerard and Ann were great hosts.
