great place, cozy, clean, spacious, well equipped house. when we came to the house wellcome basket with local cheese, sweets and small bottle of wine. Owner is very helpful. we went out at 1am to see aurora polaris and got locked out. the owner came to open the door and was very nice about it.

My family and I were impressed with the beautiful scenery that surrounds the property. We were also impressed with the quality of equipment that was available eg. washing machine and drier, well equipped kitchen. furniture, BBQ and hot tub. Our grandchildren loved the horses right outside the property and the trampoline. The hosts family even let our granddaughter ride one of their horses which really made her day! At the end of the path, towards the main road you can take a lovely stroll down to a lake too. We hired a car as we were visiting family who lived in Selfoss town, which was approximately a 35 minute drive away and Reykjavik was approximately 1 hours drive. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home surrounded by nature as it is central to all the sightseeing places to visit like the Golden Circle and various waterfalls etc.

Nice wooden chalet overlooking the mountains in the distance. The house was spacious enough for our family of four. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Their dog and horses proved to be an amazing bonus for the kids.
