My stay at Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm was an absolute treasure, largely due to the exceptional host, Magnus. Another standout feature of the farm was the bar overseen by Magnus himself. It was here that I had the pleasure of interacting with Magnus's family, sharing stories and laughter. The welcoming atmosphere prompted Magnus to pick up his guitar, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The camaraderie and music turned the night into a truly memorable experience. Participating in the Viking Thunder Clap with Magnus's father and the rest of the family was one of the most remarkable moments of my stay. This cultural connection added a layer of authenticity that made me feel like a part of the Icelandic tradition, creating a unique bond that transcended language and nationality. We originally planned to be 3 but ended up being 4 and the owner helped us a lot which cost us extra 5k isk (approx 35e) but was totally worth it! The room was great and there were 2 cute arctic foxes outside
