The host is very friendly and communication goes smoothly. The place is well-equipped with nice and helpful appliances, specially for those traveling by car like us. Everything is super clean and organized and the host was kind to leave us some options that we could eat for breakfast.

Quaint little village with two good restaurants with 1min. Quiet (church bells in the morning) and picturesque. Good launch point to various locations to visit in Chianti. Parking is nearby, abundant, and free. The host was excellent. He helped us with bringing our bags upstairs from the car, did a full walkthrough of the place and stuck around for an hour in the shop downstairs just to make sure everything was ok. When we needed some assistance with turning on the water heater a couple hours later, he guided us over the phone successfully, but still came back in person just to make sure everything was ok. The morning after the first night, we discovered our car wouldn't start. The parking garage attendant in our previous accommodation in Florence had changed our headlight settings from auto to manual and we didn't realise he had changed the settings and so parked our car leaving the lights on the whole night. So flat battery the next morning. We called our host and though it was a long weekend, and he was out with family, he came by in 20min to help us jump start our car. Kind and helpful the whole three nights we stayed. The house itself was big. One full bathroom and one ensuite toilet. Fully equipped kitchen and ample heating for the whole house.

It’s far away from the city, about 15 minutes by car, but is a paradise of landscape and comfort. The place is new and really beautiful, the staff is very helpful and polite.

What we really enjoyed was the feeling that we were staying in a real part of tuscana. The rustic nature of the place and fittings made it feel like a home from home. Yes it took a while to get hot water for a shower and the fittings etc were not swish and sleek but in our view this along with an open fire and endless supplies of logs all added to the charm of the place The icing on the cake was the view from our grassed area/patio was nothing short of breathtaking. Any little niggles were dealt with immediately by Alice who proved to be the perfect host
