Alida, the owner lady was so nice, it was a very clean and comfortable stay there. The breakfast was wonderful, with home made pie. Very quiet, cozy stay with superb view. It was approx. 30 min walk from Fiesole town if you want to have a dinner there, but it was ok for us.

Florence Country Relais is set in the Tuscan countryside, 2 km from Fiesole and a 15 minute drive from Florence.

An Oasis in the Middle of Florence Hills! There couldn’t be a better place to start our vacation from. This little gem in Fiesole, one of the elite areas outside the chaotic and touristic City of Florence, was for us literally an oasis. We had just landed in Rome after a 24 hour long flight departed from Sydney, Australia and we were driving north. Temperature was hellish and highway congested. We soon realized that we were in no condition to continue our trip without a stop. It was a very last minute booking and we were lucky we found a room available. Although we only had given Gennaro and Marianna, the owners, 2 hours notice of our arrival, they both immediately did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Once arrived at the location, we were fascinated by this 15th century building and its surroundings. It was immersed in the nature, so silent, so quiet, we almost felt we did not want to break that magic. Inside, the building, the rooms, the breakfast hall were in rustic style furnished and decorated in line with the building. This little oasis only has 4 rooms, which keeps the chaos from checking in and out away. Our room, a double one, with ensuite bathroom was clean and tidy, with a balcony overlooking the super view of the surrounding nature. Breakfast was perfect and abundant. You would not get anything near that with 20Euros in any nearby bar in Fiesole. Gennaro and Marianna are a young couple that truly love what they do. You can feel how passionate they are about their job. We could see and feel how all that passion was turned into high quality service. Moreover,the location is only 10mins drive from Florence city centre, has a free parking included which made us save roughly 40euro per night. We felt home, and definitely will stay again at “Florence Country Relais”.

Comfortable, firm bed & pillows, super clean bedroom & relaxing garden. Also the Host Marco was generous, thoughtful & accommodating with all of my needs.

Surrounded by olive groves, this elegant country estate was founded in 1427. It offers rustic-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Florence is 20 minutes' drive away.

Our stay in Villa di Campolungo was definitely the highlight of our trip in Tuscany. A magnificent villa with attention given in every detail, a couple of lovely hosts who provided us with all necessary information. The villa is located in a lovely garden just 30 min from the centre of Florence. Directions given were very helpful in order to easily find the place. A car is necessary. Not to forget also the excellent breakfast prepared with care by our hosts, composed of ingredients of the farm. Overall, an experience that surely surpassed our expectations.

Fiesole's cozy Apartment 2 is situated in Fiesole, 8.2 km from Accademia Gallery, 8.3 km from Piazza del Duomo di Firenze, as well as 8.5 km from Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

It was authentically decorated, exceptionally clean, the bed was so comfortable and the location was fabulous. High ceilings, spacious and really worth a stay. Fiesole is quiet, ideal for couples and has lovely local restaurants. The bus journey into Florence is about 25mins but is dependent on traffic. We were happy not to be in the busy tourist area.

Michelangelo and family thoughtfully provided some breakfast food (and a bottle of wine!) when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped and quite functional. The view from the small balcony is beautiful. The apartment was comfortable for our family of 4 and we would stay again if we find ourselves in Fiesole.

Agriturismo Montereggi is set in the Tuscan countryside at the edge of the Chianti dei Colli Fiorentini area. Organic, extra-virgin olive oil and wine are produced on site.

The view was serene, the room was luxurious by my standards, and the staff were incredibly helpful going above and beyond. The pool looked lovely, even though we weren't up for it. The restaurant was ace the evening we arrived. Glad we booked a few nights there, perfect place to take it easy for a day after travelling by train.
