The apartment is very well equipped and in good condition. The location is great for exploring the Vallee Cannobina and the local shop just up the road sells most things for daily needs. The hostess is very helpful

this is a wonderfully restored, typical old stone house of a period long gone. the owners did a fantastic job in preserving the character and restoring as much as necessary - but not TOO much. rather then gutting the whole house and turning it into a modern building on the inside - which unfortunately, you see all too often in this area. it almost has the feeling of a live-in museum, in the best way possible. to spend time here allows you to imagine what it must have been like more than a century ago. of course there is all necessary modern equipment, like a full kitchen, fully equipped, and a bathroom and central heating as well. and a good stereo (one with a TV/DVD combo) - on every floor! but you also have a fireplace as well as creaking floors and old window blinds. we particularly liked the good selection of books and DVDs, one can tell the owners are quite the intellectuals ;-) this house really feels like it is a family home, not just a place to stay. comfy sofas and lounge chairs are everywhere. very cozy, very warm - and very special! plus, you don't need a clock here either because you hear the churchbells very clearly, they are right nextdoor. perhaps we would bring some earplugs next time (!) last not least, it is in a really lively village with a functioning village cafe/bar (also try their stiff drinks ;-) and a small deli/store as well as a really good family restaurant just down the road in 10 min walking distance. we ate there every night and felt very welcome, like part of the village. in short, we had a wonderful time here, thanks again!

The view of Lago Maggiore was amazing. The food was some of the best I had in Italy during out stay. There were lots of great hiking trails nearby. The staff was friendly and their pets were adorable.

Lovely apartment, great balcony with views over the forest and hills Lovely quiet neighbourhood with a great square nearby with bar and pizzeria . Very spacious, well equipped apartment Loved it here, would highly recommend
