Super spacious place to stay. The host was super kind to us, even giving us many amenities and food without charge.

Despite not being fluent in English, all staff (the one family working well together) were welcoming, polite and helpful and were able to develop a more personal connection with guests. Enjoyed the short tour of the village by car at 3.30pm (if you check in and book by 3.15pm) dropping us drop off at the observatory so we could walk back down the hill. Great dinner and breakfast with interesting local dishes and use of local ingredients. Pleasant and interesting music with meals. Wonderful river view and interesting design of room. Lovely wooden onsen overlooking the river. Close to bus and the whole villiage. Everythibg very clean. Spring water onsen and to drink. Was worth the price.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and a.nice resteraunt. The onsen is a delight and really makes great use.of the location... The free use of kimonos was a nice touch.

The room was beautiful and comfortable, bathroom was perfectly clean and well equipped, the location was ideal and the best part were the hosts: they were extremely kind and friendly, they definitely made the whole stay a tremendous pleasure. They were kind enough to take me to the bus station and also delivered some objects I left behind to me by mail. They were gentle and respectful, and I'm very grateful for their treatment and attention. Thank you very much, I really enjoyed staying at Minsyuku and would love to come back and stay with you again! Thank you!

Beautiful hotel, with the view on the water. Traditional and very quiet for relaxation. The price is worth it with the dinner included since there is nothing open at night for dinner. Nice Onsen. I will come back!
