The studio apartment itself is a great place to stay. Clean, very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is also situated in a lovely quiet street with off street parking and an outdoor area in the garden to enjoy. But the real star of this stay was Ingrid and her wonderful family. We arrived to be greeted and shown around, and to find milk and cereals ready for breakfast, and the dining table already laid up for us. I could go on with more detail, but honestly, on this road trip we had 43 stays, some of them quite brilliant, but none topped this!

This is a lovely, private accommodation conveniently situated to the village and the UNESCO world heritage site of Kinderdijk. The area is very walkable and completely safe. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Living upstairs, they are on hand to provide information but also very discrete to leave us to our own devices as we wish. The cleanliness is too notch and the set up is very convenient.

Everything was perfect! The property was very relaxing, inviting, and felt warm and homey. Our room had the small outdoor yard which was so pleasing. The bedroom was well decorated and organized. The bathroom and tub were super clean and equipped with the latest shower gadgets. Jeanette, was very nice and attentive. She suggested and helped us with places to see in Rotterdam. The next morning she prepared such an excellent Dutch breakfast, and even explained to us the different food items on the table. Thank you Jeanette!

Jako lijep apartman u kojem je bilo smješteno nas 8. Ispred se nalazi besplatan javni parking uz cestu. Ključeve smo preuzeli odmah ujutro po dolasku, a u apartman ušli nešto kasnije, nakon čišćenja. Najbolji dio apartmana je prostrana dnevna soba, kuhinja i lijepo dvorište.

We had our own private space that was very clean with a bedroom, kitchen area, and small conversation area. Our hosts, Jolanda and Andre, were tremendously kind, generous, and made our stay very relaxing. From helping us park our car in the correct area, to helping us order take out sushi, to letting us borrow their bikes to ride out to see the windmills during Illuminate Week, we couldn't have asked for a better experience in Alblasserdam. Additionally, the breakfast in the morning offered a large variety of delicious food and Jolanda gave us a plastic bag so we could take our leftovers as a snack in the car. As a bonus, Andre offered some travel tips about Italy, as it was our destination the following week.
