Vila AL-Castro is a recently renovated holiday home in Castro Verde, where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool and garden. Guests can benefit from a patio and a sun terrace.

We stayed for 3 nights to explore the area around and we had a great time. The house is decorated in the traditional Portuguese style, very clean and with everything you need to cook a simple meal. They left a bottle of wine from the area which we liked a lot and bought more in the ruralidade museum, where I would recommend to visit to

We highly recommend this lovely and welcoming oasis of tranquillity, quality and care Sophia has renovated the house beautifully with no regard to expense. The rood top terrace ( with excellent loungers and a wonderful view) the pool and the dining room are excellent. Because we are biking Sophia arranged a nice home cooked dinner for us and went to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything worked well for us

Everything was more than amazing. I don’t remember to be in such a cool place with people doing their maximum with pleasure to do it. We could rent electric bicycles free. Breakfast also amazing.

Monte da Ameixa Country House is located in Castro Verde. Located on top of a hill, it offers modern-style holiday homes with views the surrounding countryside.

Beautiful quiet location with amazing views and lovely property. Very attractive grounds with lots of relaxing spaces and plenty to do-beautiful swimming pool, garden, games area and relaxed seating and indoor lounge for guests. Our room was spacious and very clean with a very well appointed bathroom. Walks from the property which was lovely at sunset. Super friendly staff-always ready to help and provide local information. Marisa was a star and kept everything running smoothly-also cooking a lovely 3 course meal for us one evening.

Peaceful location. Perfect to wind down . Plenty of villages to visit nearby and you can also spend a lot of time on the propriety walking around , the weather was not perfect during our stay so we will be back again another time to experience it. There is a drivable dirt road for the last 5-10 mins of drive, just to be aware .
