We were looking for a relaxing weekend, and Casa dos Castelejos was a perfect spot for this. We stayed at a house, just for ourselves. It had a fully equipped kitchen (you even have a dishwasher and even the essentials such as oil, or salt), air conditioner, and even the basics for the bathroom. The pool was very clean, and the breakfast was pretty good, with fresh fruit and homemade bread. The place is secluded, as you can see on the map. But we staffed ourselves with food and we spent the weekend just to enjoy the site. If you are looking for a relaxed weekend, do not hesitate.

We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely return. Jorge and Alexandra are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed nature walks nearby and the wide variety of birdlife. We enjoyed our stay in the Guadiana Natural Park also thanks to this amazingly pleasant and comfortable accommodation in the quiet village of Alcaria Ruiva. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and in the unusually hot weather for April we always looked forward to returning here as a cool oasis. We had a great night's sleep in complete silence, and in the morning we were only woken up by the chirping of the birds on the roof. The accommodation also has an excellent location not far from the top of Alcaria Ruiva, where eagles and vultures can be observed.
