The house was a charming old school portuguese house. Very clean and looked like recently refurbished. My husband especially enjoyed the real wood fireplace for heating the house (the weather was quite cold when we were there and we travelled with a small baby).

Fantastic getaway and a true embodiment of "tranquilidade" - led by two equally charming proprietors from the Netherlands, fluent in English, German, Dutch, Portuguese... and, less common, a true enjoyment of hospitality. The Casa itself is pretty, with a pool, fireplace and nice patio, but what makes it exceptional are the two hosts - be it engaging or calm -, their personal touch, helpful tips and an outstanding breakfast. Be careful about your LinkedIn profile though, to cater to your personal needs, you might get googled...;-)

The house is very well equipped with everything you might need and tastefully decorated. The hosts were there for the check-in to show us around and you can tell hospitality for them is really a lifestyle. They also left a bottle of wine and some fruit from their garden, which was greatly appreciated. The house is in a quiet area but close to Mira and not far from the beaches. One of my friends forgot a skirt in their bedroom and Sonia went above and beyond to make sure she got it back quickly and at no charge.
