Everything about this property was exceptional - comfort, cleanliness, location, amenities, breakfast, WiFi, parking, and most especially the host (Diogo). The property is surrounded by vineyards and our room was amazing, with a view of the vineyards from the room and the attached private terrace. The room was large, well laid out, with an extremely comfortable bed, very nice closet space, a desk and a large, comfortable bathroom. The host could not have been more helpful from our first interaction to our goodbye. His recommendations for everything from restaurants to tastings to viewpoints were amazing - we had meals we never would have found without his help. We really feel as if we made a great new friend in Diogo. We were also lucky to meet his wonderful mother who runs the cafe next door and made us feel as welcome as Diogo did - it is a wonderful family. We have traveled the world staying at all types of properties, from the most luxurious to simple, and this one will stand out in our minds forever. This was the best stay of our 3 week trip! We are already missing being there and hope to return very soon.

The property was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome. We had a private wine tasting accompanied by good conversation. Breakfast was outstanding.

The location was great with a great view over the Douro valley. Hanging around the pool was a nice reprieve during our trip. The owners and their daughter were very friendly. They offered to give us a tour of the winery and gave us a bottle of wine of their wine to enjoy.

It was spacious , clean and warm. The views were fantastic and our dog loved the very well enclosed gardens and vineyard. We are touring Europe and staying in lots of properties and this is definitely our favourite so far. It was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed some of the lovely walks in the Douro.
