I stayed at Phong Le Vent before the Covid-19 and had a chance to come back this time. This particular homestay provides me a homy feeling with delicious food and warm hospitality.

Firstly, Sa Dec is an incredible place to explore. It is immensely charming, with 100s of bridges crisscrossing the city and a thriving (and unique to vietnam) culinary scene. Ms Ngoc from La Maison was super helpful and had a lot of excellent recommendations. Even as a 17+year guest in this country, having a local tell you all the best spots to eat or go remains invaluable.

Homestay Phong de Pêche offers accommodations in Ấp Tân Bình (1), 19 miles from Vinh Long Museum. There's a private entrance at the boat for the convenience of those who stay.

Unique and beautiful experience. The host and his staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is about 10-15 mins from the main town, chợ Sa Đéc, but the host can help to call grab taxi for you. If you don't feel like going to town, the host can also help cook food or grab food for you. I would recommend the host to put rules like guests are not allowed to eat or drink (except water) on the boats to keep as many bugs and creatures (like ants..) away as possible. They have a little nice deck, and all food and drink could be consumed there instead. But future guests please understand, staying on the boat is very close to camping/ glamping experience, so of course there are bugs in nature regardless. Mosquitoes are not avoidable, so do bring your strong bug spray / lotion. But of course it's more comfortable than camping since you have a nice bed with AC and your own bathroom , kinda nice . Recommend to try. :)

Oanh is the nicest homestay host I have ever had. She is super friendly and cooks the most amazing meals. The best food I had in Vietnam was cooked by Oanh. Also her sister and mother are really friendly. The location is quite remote but I really enjoyed this and you could experience real Vietnamese life. No tourists to be seen anywhere. Also the homestay is not big. There are only a maximum number of 8 people there and you can connect well with them over dinner.

Ngoc Phuong Homestay is located in Vinh Long. It offers complimentary bicycle rentals, parking and WiFi access. A set menu breakfast is served daily.

I was accompanied by Host Ju, she was very helpful. Unfortunately I was the only person at the place. But don't get discouraged to book it, Ju and other stuff will do all the best to make you feel relaxed. The swimming pool was great and as a bonus they have an outside gym. Food at the place was great, right portions. Also it may look it is far way, but honestly you can rent bike and go to Coco house(restaurant on the other side) and than go to local zoo and Finnish trip in Pagoda and come back. I u wanna go to Vinh Long I would advice you to tike motorbike, which you can rent at hostel. Ju was also organizing for me how to get to place and from it, just contact her she will organize local taxi for you. Btw. Surrounded art is amazing. Painting and sculptures, bridges, really cool! Thank you happy family!

Mr. Trung and his family are wonderful. He speaks English very well and helps you with everything you need. It was my birthday during my stay and my husband and the family surprised me with a cake, flowers and fruit. So lovely. I really enjoyed cooking dinner with then and, OMG dinner menu was amazing.
