The property is a 8-minute walk from Takayama Nohi Bus Centre, where guests can take a bus to Shirakawa Village. It was very nicely decorated and spacious also the staff was very nice.

There isn't much to do in Takayama after a certain hour in Winter but that is ok, since the ryokan has a very inviting area where you can relax, read, try calligraphy and origami, have some tea... I left my mobile phone in the room and enjoyed the entertainment provided there, completely agnostic of the outside world. Great way to disconnect!

Very good location, 5-8 mins walk from most of the attractions with lots of eateries nearby as well. Apartment was very clean and very well-appointed.
