Good location close to Sokcho market and to Abai village. Hostel is clean and rooms are big enough. Good parking.
Lovely characteristic guesthouse. Spacious rooms, a nice porch overlooking the river, and everything you need. The host/manager was super welcoming and helpful, giving us a ride to the park and the bus station! The location is convenient for Seoraksan National Park and for Sokcho beaches. Frequent buses run to both. The village Seoraksan-Dong itself has a few convenience stores and simple traditional Korean restaurants, with good food. Mon-Thursday it's extremely quiet.
The location was great. Beachfront. Minutes to ferris wheel Sokcho Eye, 9 minute drive to Abai Village, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. In unit washer!
Very friendly and helpful host. Close by to a stunning mountain with hikes and a lovely village with great restaurant options, including Honam.
The rooms are spacious with ski slope view. Location is next to Alpensia Ski Resort. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores around (like a small village). There are activities for kids. Also had basement parking which is good especially when it snows. You get 30% discount on ski lift and gear rentals when staying here. Would definitely come back.
Loved our room in the Blue building. So great with a toddler, was very happy with it. Loved the breakfast buffet at Ondo, the food, the view and the staff made it so lovely every morning. Snow village and the Blue canyon were great and liked most of the restaurants at the village. Would love to revisit.
Location (within a village/compound and within walking distance to ski slope), amenities, big rooms. It is a short 10-min drive to Hoenggye (town) which has Daiso, Paris Baguette and J Mart. Few foreigners. Basic Korean knowledge is preferred.
Excellent location near the central market, walking distance to abai village and great restaurants in the vicinity. Apartment is extremely clean, comfortable, spacious and has everything you could ever need. And what a fantastic view to wake up to every morning.
Given its a hostel the facilities are rather basic but it gives good value for your money. I liked that the hostel was small and cosy, and the owner was welcoming and helpful. The building is located within walking distance of the Fishery market and Abai village. The bus stop to Seoraksan park is also close.
Facilities were old but they are well maintained. The villa condo type was located a bit far from the restaurants. Key-less entry was convenient and check out also could be done online. There were many activities we could try during our stay.
