Room was pretty clean with a great view of the ocean. Pretty close to the beach. They have a convenience store and restaurants in the building.

So close to the ski resort and easy to travel

The room was great, very spacious and clean. The gym was excellent. The staff was helpful and the parking was easy.

Location was superb. Mountain view out of the balcony was stunning. Breakfast selection is decent as in any other big western hotel chain. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and spoke excellent english.

The lobby, restaurants, and spa were all clean and well maintained. The shuttle bus was nice, although it wasn't very frequent and stopped early.

This is a brand new hotel (less than 1 year) and everything was very clean and well maintained. We were especially impressed with the staff’s willingness to help and they went out of their way to accommodate our requests and did so with smile. We felt the hotel and the staff really lived up to its brand and highly recommend this place if you plan to visit Gangneung.

Proximity to the sea side, the room was with view to the seaside and at dawn it was amazing. We had twin bed, and they were comfortable. The Café adjacent to the hotel is excellent for breakfast. Taxi to and from the hotel is really convenient.

Everything, it was a wonderful nights stay.

The problem is that in the past it was a super nice hotel. Now it looks because no guests it looks so empty and also they have to cut the cost that the service is not was is pretending.

So clean and beautiful. Right by the coastal trail. Smells like the ocean! Staff was very kind.

Very clean and friendly staff

The breakfast staff was extremely nice, and the food was delicious. The hotel is in a very good location, close to everything you need. There is a public bus stop right at the hotel, making it easy to access great restaurants. The price was very reasonable, and my overall experience with this property was fantastic. I highly recommend it!"

Breakfast was plentyful but there was no heat applied to keep the food warm, so most of the food inscluding soup was room temperature. The rice was hot though

Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide range of hot, cold, fruit, and traditional Korean soup options, all for just £7.50. To answer the question, "Did the price you paid match the expectations you had when you booked?" my answer is no – it exceeded all my expectations. The experience was beyond my imagination and truly incredible. I didn't realise the hotel was right in the heart of the shopping district and street markets, with stores such as New Balance, Nike, and other major clothing brands just a 2 minute walk away (although sat nav indicated 8 minutes). The area also has plenty of places to eat, with very affordable prices, and taxis are inexpensive if you want to travel further afield. I've travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels over the years, and this has been, by far, my best hotel experience. One thing I particularly appreciated was the cleanliness of the breakfast area. There were no flies around the food, which meant I could comfortably enjoy the cold breakfast options – something I rarely do at other hotels unless the food is individually wrapped. The view from the breakfast lounge was also outstanding. If you are visiting this area, this is the hotel to choose. Although English is somewhat limited (though still better than my two Korean words, "hello" and "thank you"), the staff happily use translation apps and are always willing to help. No task seems too difficult for them. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Truly amazing.

Excellent, new hotel with large rooms. Breakfast had a nice mix of Asian and Western options. We also ate dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and thought the course menu was an excellent value for the quality of the meal. Lovely, heated pool on the rooftop with excellent city views.
