Water Front Home Stay is situated in Anuradhapura and offers a garden. The homestay has access to a restaurant. This homestay with garden views has 1 bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. This homestay is a dream come tru, located near one lake in the beautiful Anuradhapura. Wasantha is the most careful, warmhearted and wise man I’ve ever met so far, he is a wonderful host, makes you feel really like home, like a member of his own family. His advises made our life so much easier. He even offered us to drive with him together from Negombo to Anuradhapura and after the stay to Kandy, on the way we had several stops to see all the important sights and temples, he gave us a lot of information about all places, sharing many historical informations and facts of the sights. He let me to watch the cooking process whilst ma King breakfast, by the way tha breakfast was always full and delucious containing local flavours and different fruits from his own garden. He lent Róbert Knoxes historical book of Ceylon, to help me understan better the country and the people living in, sharing the historical background of the present Srì Lanka. In short, Wasantha and his beautiful family is a jackpot if you are visiting this town with the rich past. Go ahead and find him, this is my best advise! Thank you dear Wasantha, Ayubowan 🙏🏻

The room was spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, TV, AC. There was also an outdoor terrace shared with one other room. The hosts were charming and very helpful in organising excursions in Anuradhapura and transfers. You can book to have dinner at the property which is a good idea as there are no restaurants nearby. Both dinners were really delicious as were the breakfasts.

Breakfast was delicious and the rental of bikes was really great, so we could cycle to and from all the temples and the surrounding area. We would happily return and would recommend this property.
