We really enjoyed staying in Hidden Heaven - we even extended our stay by 3 days. We were renting our own Tuktuk so the location was ideal as it was right on the main road with quick & easy access (5 min drive) to Hiriketiya and Kudawella (a great beginner surf spot) and was also only a 15 minute drive to Silent Beach in Tangalle. The room we stayed in was large, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with many outlets, Netflix, toiletries, tea & coffee, etc. Even on the main road the room is well sound proofed and quiet at night. The staff are very friendly & go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. We would recommend staying here (especially if you have your own Tuktuk as they have parking space that’s gated at night)

It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. The rooms were great. Nicest breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka (those omelettes 🔥). Jeremey and Roshan and all of the staff were amazing and accommodating.
